William "Skip" Lynch (aka "Skippy Dee") is a Professional Drummer, Vocalist, Composer, and Band Director, whose been holding the pocket down for groups and bands in the Rocky Mountain Region for over 35 years. Skip has music and performing in his blood. His mother is well-known recording artist & actress "Katie Love", who recorded on Alabama's Muscle Shoals record label, as Katie Love & the Four Shades of Black, (led by her late husband Leslie Burnside), and also solo with Isaac Hayes' song writing, for Stax Records. 

Skip got his first taste of playing drums in High School Marching Bands, and then turned to trap drums. He is one of the strongest "Singing Drummers" in the business, with an excellent ear for lead & harmony, while never dropping the beat.

Skip has gigged with flautist Bobbie Humphrey, (who gave Skip his stage name "Skippy Dee"), as well as playing for The Platters, Miki Howard, Surface, Santana members percussionist Karl Perazzo, Raul Rekow, and lead vocalist Tony Lindsay, and has opened for Nancy Wilson, Marlena Shaw, John P. Kee, Rudy Ray Moore, Hugh Masekela (twice), Cameo, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Pieces of a Dream, and Deep Blue Something (at The Hard Rock Cafe in Shanghai China).

From Skip's teen years, he has gigged with local bands: Sammy Mayfield, Maurice Fontaine, Sterling Harrison, Joe Keel & The Action Orchestra, Seduction, Rashada, Nucleus, Joe Clemmons, Lannie Garrett, Perry Jones' Sudio Band, Diana Castro, Chilli Willi, New Flava, Freddi & The Soul Shakers, The Jack Hadley Band, Chase-N-The-Dream, Indeya and Julius Williams, The Kronic The One-Up Band, his sister - Sheryl Renee Band, Hazel Miller Band, John Romero Y Amanecero, Wil Alston, Ron Ivory & The Miles Apart Band, The Linda Styles Band, Havana Blue, The Last Chapter, The Motones, The Jersey Boys, Sheldon Johnson Band, Melody Reniques "Soul Diva Revue", The Radio Band, The Rumour Band, and of course his own band, The Skippy Dee Band.
